Pathaan box office receipts Day 27: Shah Rukh Khan's action-thriller is now the fifth Indian movie to pass the $1 billion mark internationally.

Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan is enjoying amazing box office success even after playing for almost a month. The movie has surpassed the desired Rs 1000 crore mark internationally and is steadily moving in the direction of being the best Hindi-language movie locally. This week's fresh releases of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania by Marvel and Shehzada by Kartik Aaryan did not have any impact on Pathaan.

Pathaan will surpass the 500 crore level today [fourth Tuesday; Day 28], according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh. First Hindi film to reach this goal and fastest to reach 500 crores (#Hindi, Nett BOC). Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon (Week 4): 2.20, 3.25, 4.15, and 1.20 respectively. 498.95 crores in total. Hindi. Before surpassing the Hindi version of Baahubali: The Conclusion, which brought in Rs 510.99 crore, there is still some distance to go. The movie surpassed Rs 10 crore in additional revenue during its fourth weekend in the Hindi market. It made Rs 2.20 crore on Friday, Rs 3.25 crore on Saturday, and then a hefty Rs 4.15 crore on Sunday.

Yash Raj Films shared the Pathaan box office totals up to Sunday on Monday. "#Pathaan streak continues to climb," read a tweet from YRF, noting that the movie had made Rs 996 cr worldwide. After adding together Monday's receipts, the movie has quickly passed the Rs 1000 cr threshold. According to Box Office Worldwide, the movie's domestic gross take was Rs 623 crore and its worldwide take was Rs 377 crore, bringing its total take to Rs 1000 crore.

Following Dangal (Rs 1968.03 cr), Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Rs 1747 cr), KGF 2 (Rs 1188 cr), and RRR, Pathaan is the fifth Indian movie to surpass the Rs 1000 cr mark globally (Rs 1174 cr). Notably, Pathaan accomplished the feat without having its Chinese theatrical release.

Shah Rukh Khan was looking forward to Pathaan earning more than Rs 1000 crore. He held an Ask SRK session on Monday during which he revealed his lucky number to a Twitter follower. Shah Rukh answered, "Right now any number above 1000 ha ha ha #Pathaan," when a user asked him whether he had a lucky number.

It would be interesting to watch if other Bollywood superstars can redeem themselves in the wake of Pathaan's enormous success. With his most recent film, Shehzada, Kartik Aaryan, who prevented Bollywood from being written off in 2022 with his flick Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, has failed miserably. Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar, who appeared in four unsuccessful films last year, is making a comeback on Friday with his movie Selfiee.
