On January 11 of this year, the two biggest movies of the year—"Varisu," starring Vijay, and "Thunivu," starring Ajith—were released. Both films have separately earned more than Rs 300 crore at the box office worldwide, and they are almost at the halfway point of their 50-day theatrical runs.


The renowned theatre in Chennai announced on social media that they will be hosting a fan fest for both of the hit Tamil films of 2023 on February 25. Bookings for the movie's exclusive fans show were made available by the theatre via Twitter, where they shared two posters—one for "Varisu" and the other for "Thunivu." 


Despite "Varisu" and "Thunivu" have already had their internet premieres, they have been in theatres for 45 days and are almost at the end of their 50-day run.

The bank robbery thriller "Thunivu," directed by H Vinoth, features Ajith, Manju Warrier, Mahanadhi Shankar, John Kokken, and Samuthirakani in pivotal parts. Ghibran wrote the soundtrack for the film. 

Varisu, a family-centered emotional drama directed by Vamshi Paidipally, has Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna, Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Sangeetha Krish, Samyuktha, and SJ Suryah in pivotal parts. S Thaman wrote the soundtrack for the film, which was released in Telugu under the name "Vaarasudu."
