Vaathi/Sir movie Box office collection

In barely 17 days, actor Dhanush's most recent Tamil-Telugu bilingual flick Vaathi has surpassed the 100 crores mark at the box office.

The movie's total box office receipts in India have reached Rs 67.47 crore after so far collecting Rs 37.16 crore in Tamil and Rs 30.31 crore in Telugu.

Dhanush plays a professor in the Venky Atluri-directed movie who uses his methods of instruction to improve society.

The movie has performed incredibly well not only in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, but also in other regions of the nation and abroad.

Dhanush announced on Twitter that his movie had earned 100 crore rupees. He uploaded the movie's poster along with three emojis of folded hands.

Action-drama movie "Vaathi" has Dhanush, Samyuktha Menon, and Sai Kumar as the main characters. The story of a young man's life and battles against school privatisation are the focus of the movie.

The two-son father of the Maari star recently discussed how challenging it may be for parents to raise their children. He claimed that all children needed to do was study and do well on their examinations, noting that parents were responsible for raising their children to be respectable, moral individuals. He claimed that this is a much harder and more challenging job.

Dhanush is now filming Captain Miller, his upcoming Tamil movie, for which he has grown out his hair. Arun Matheswaran is the director of the movie.

Dhanush tweeted a photo from the Captain Miller set from the previous year showing him sporting long hair, a thick beard, and a moustache.
